Job Title: Foster Care Team Leader
Empowering Young Lives, Supporting Families
The Foster Care Team Leader plays a vital role in leading and managing a team of foster care professionals. Reporting to the coordinator, this position ensures seamless service delivery to young people, families, and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage performance to meet organisational goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for improved processes in support and casework.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to incidents and oversee contracts.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in therapeutic or family-based care.
- 3+ years of leadership experience within child/family services.
- Proven supervision and reflective practice skills.
- Strong knowledge of child protection laws.
- Direct experience supporting complex young people.
