Recovery Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals navigating mental distress.

About the Role:

  • Support individuals to build independence, reconnect with their strengths, and take steps towards a fulfilling life.
  • Provide emotional support, practical assistance, and a consistent presence to help individuals achieve their recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure person-centred, trauma-informed, and inclusive services.
  • Prioritize the needs of each individual, responding with empathy and compassion in times of crisis or uncertainty.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Mental Health or similar qualification, along with relevant experience in the field.
  • Emotional intelligence, calm under pressure, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Able to support individuals through challenging moments, not just tasks.
  • Familiarity with recovery-oriented practice and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Current driver's license and relevant checks (see below).
