Rehabilitation Consultant Role

This is a challenging position that requires collaboration with treatment providers to achieve optimal recovery outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will have expertise in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy and be passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans.

The role involves attending various workplaces on a weekly basis to understand physical demands and responsibilities of job roles, supporting safe and timely return to work or maintenance at work.

Educating workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries is also a key aspect of the position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with treatment providers to ensure best recovery outcomes for clients
  • Provide clinical opinions and justification through report writing
  • Attend workplaces to understand physical demands and responsibilities of job roles
  • Educate workplaces on injury prevention and management
Requirements
  • AHPRA or ESSA registration
  • Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, exercise physiology or physiotherapy
  • Passion for stakeholder management and communication skills
