About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the delivery of maintenance and construction programs across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer in the delivery of maintenance and construction programs.
  • Monitor and report project progress to ensure project delivery as per agreed milestones and cost.
  • Manage project and delivery processes to ensure nominated road or traffic infrastructure and/or maintenance projects are developed and delivered to agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
  • Manage a direct workforce and contract works.
  • Prepare contract documents for road works projects, including technical specifications.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in civil/structural engineering and have experience in the design, construction, inspection and/or maintenance of pavement, road and/or earthworks infrastructure.

You will also have experience in the preparation of competitive and accurate estimates, job programs, project delivery briefs and WH&S management plans, quality, environmental, and traffic management plans for assigned projects.
