Senior Project Manager

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead the planning and delivery of capital projects within our Tier 1 mining client in NSW.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage engineering efforts for Ore Processing, CE Mining, and Infrastructure projects.
- Ensure projects meet stakeholder requirements and adhere to scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with Project Supervision and Engineering teams to manage contractor compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Conduct project assurance reviews, including design reviews, risk assessments, and integrate safety in design principles.
- Implement value engineering to provide cost-effective, safe solutions.
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership and ensure effective critical controls management for high-risk tasks.
- Track and report project performance, manage construction verification, and handle change management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or related field).
- Over 10 years of senior project engineering experience in Resources or Heavy Industries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project controls software (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Primavera).
- Advanced project management and contract management abilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
