Job Description

This exciting opportunity is available at Rocco's Italian Sourdough Pizza. We seek an experienced leader in hospitality who shares our passion for artisanal sourdough pizza and commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in restaurant management and operations, with a focus on expense management, sales targets, and building supplier relationships. They will also possess strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing expenses, rosters, wages, and utilities to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Tracking financial performance, controlling costs, and overseeing supplier relationships for effective cost and inventory management.
  • Managing sales, meeting targets, and implementing strategies to balance profit and productivity.

Operational Management:

  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, food preparation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintaining safety protocols and conducting regular staff training.
  • Performing inspections to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
  • Managing first aid, food handling, RSA, and industry licenses.
  • Staying updated on changes to local laws and regulations.

Team Leadership and Customer Engagement:

  • Training, supervising, and motivating staff to maintain excellence and foster a positive work environment.
  • Addressing customer enquiries and complaints and using feedback to enhance the dining experience.
  • Managing staff scheduling for peak periods and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.
