
Care Leadership Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to lead our team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting a multidisciplinary team who are deeply committed to making a positive impact in their community.
The successful candidate will have experience managing and leading a diverse team of employees and volunteers to provide an exemplary level of care and service to residents. You will respond quickly and effectively to issues including Human Resource, client complaints and serious incidents, and facilitate the implementation and effective use of quality and risk management information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team of employees and volunteers to deliver exceptional resident care and services
- Respond promptly and effectively to HR, client complaints and serious incidents
- Ensure smooth operation of quality and risk management information systems
- Maintain awareness of incident management and reporting requirements among staff
- Drive occupancy levels, ACFI management and budget outcomes
- Implement relevant legislative and policy changes and maintain compliance with aged care standards
- Develop and foster relationships with residents, families, staff and volunteers in support of resident goals
About the Role:
- Proven management experience in an aged or healthcare setting
- Experience working within the Aged Care legislative framework, including Compulsory Reporting requirements and the Aged Care Complaints Scheme
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation Frameworks
- Understanding of ANACC and its impact on business outcomes, plus Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and continuous improvement
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (highly regarded but not essential)
- Desirable specialist knowledge or postgraduate qualifications in health management or business administration
- Local residence within 45 minutes of the facility
