**Job Title:** After Hours Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of After Hours Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight during non-business hours to ensure effective and efficient management of our Residence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Deliver high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
  • Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Crisis Management: Handle emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Grade 5, Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
  • Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
