Responsibilities
  • Be part of the inaugural executive leadership team.
  • Lead clinical operations and shape a newly established service delivering youth mental health care for ages 12 to 25, informed by lived experience and research.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams providing comprehensive specialist care; drive integration with Orygen and headspace centres where applicable; ensure trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate services.
The Organisation

Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria's first standalone public mental health service built exclusively for young people aged 12 to 25. Operational from July 2025, PYMHWS delivers specialist, community, and inpatient services across multiple sites and partners with Orygen.

We deliver developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, inclusive care grounded in lived experience, with services across Melbourne's north and west.
