Defence Capability Specialist Job

The role of Defence Capability Specialist is pivotal in driving the development and delivery of capability definition experience, especially in Navy surface and above water combat systems. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our experts to deliver specialist services to clients in engagements that develop/support capability for Navy.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide support services to Defence Capability Project Sponsors, including the development and review of Defence Capability artefacts to support progress through gate reviews. The ideal candidate will have expertise in eliciting Capability requirements from multiple stakeholders and experience in providing solutions-driven consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support services to Defence Capability Project Sponsors, including development and review of Defence Capability artefacts.
  • Elicit Capability requirements from multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement solutions-driven consultancy services to meet client needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering 'above the line services' in the Defence Maritime environment within the One Defence Capability System.
  • Deep understanding of Fundamental Inputs to Capability in Defence and the role they play in Capability Realisation.
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
