We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and other key business reports. They will also be expected to provide expert advice on taxation and accounting matters, as well as manage corporate tax compliance on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable;
- Review and preparation of tax returns, including corporate tax and VAT;
- Management of corporate tax compliance, including submission of tax returns;
- Provision of expert advice on taxation and accounting matters;
- Development and implementation of tax-efficient structures for clients;
- Quality control review of corporate tax returns;
- Investigation of possible errors or problems in company financial books.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- B.B.A, B.Com, Chartered Accountant, M.B.A/PGDM, M.Com degree;
- Experience in Ireland accounting, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficient in Bookkeeping and Year-End; Knowledge of Ireland VAT (ROS) and IAS/BAS;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of Xero, BAS and Ireland Accounts Executive Walk-in software platforms.
