Job Title: Financial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled financial professional to join our team. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial accounts, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing expert advice on SMSF matters.

This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary package, plus superannuation benefits. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in public practice accounting in Australia and be eligible for CA or CPA membership.

The Role

In this role, you will work closely with the management team and partners to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including ATO requirements
  • Providing expert advice on SMSF matters, including investment strategies and estate planning
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, with 2-5 years of experience in public practice
  • Completed Australian tertiary studies in accounting or a related field
  • Eligibility for CA or CPA membership, with a willingness to pursue further education and training
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
