As General Manager, Professional Standards, you will play a key role in shaping governance, driving compliance, and ensuring the highest standards across the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of professional standards, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee complaints, investigations, and disciplinary processes with fairness and transparency.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders to enhance trust and reputation.
  • Provide clear reporting and insights to the Board and senior leadership.
  • Champion education and training to embed a culture of ethics and professionalism.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in compliance, governance, or professional standards.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and codes of conduct.
  • Proven track record in investigations and complaints management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in financial planning, compliance, business administration or related discipline.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Effective implementation and oversight of governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Timely and accurate resolution of complaints, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Strong and constructive relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
  • Design and delivery of development programs that embed professional standards.
