Payroll Systems Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to expand their technical skills in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Wage Type Configuration: Configure wage types for employees, including setting up pay rules and calculation methods to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
  • Work Schedule Rules: Create and maintain work schedule rules for employees, guaranteeing timely and precise payroll calculations.
  • Personal Calculation Rules: Develop and implement personal calculation rules for employees, taking into account factors such as leave entitlements, bonuses, and other relevant variables.
  • Level 1 & 2 Support: Manage and resolve level 1 & 2 support queries, escalating complex issues to third-party vendors when necessary to prevent delays.
  • Test Scenarios: Design and execute test scenarios to validate the accuracy and reliability of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • SuccessFactors ECP Release Updates: Collaborate with the team to implement half-yearly SuccessFactors ECP release updates, minimizing disruptions to payroll processing.
  • Vendor Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for vendors, resolving issues and negotiating solutions to benefit the organisation.
  • EBA Interpretation: Interpret Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and integrate them into the ECP platform, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
