Job Title

The Department of Justice and Community Safety’s Emergency Management group is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in contributing to the development and implementation of state-wide initiatives or programs across multiple volunteer organisations.

This role involves implementing strategies to enhance volunteer Marine Search and Rescue capabilities, coordinating readiness and fleet management processes, and supporting programs and initiatives to engage volunteers and provide continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge of the National Law Act 2012 for Domestic Commercial Vessels, particularly exemption 24, safety management systems, and vessel survey requirements. You will also need excellent communication and project management skills.
