Our organization seeks an accomplished Acquisition Specialist to contribute to the enhancement of procurement operations. In this position, you will be responsible for promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Role
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, plan, and execute projects that drive procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert guidance on procurement processes, probity matters, and governance requirements.
  • Support the management of risk by contributing to risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures relevant to procurement, purchasing, and contract management.

You will work closely with our team to establish and maintain effective systems and standards of procurement operation that incorporate statutory obligations through subcontractor prequalification processes.

Requirements
  • Completed undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in a related field (such as procurement, business, or law) and/or equivalent experience in related procurement activities.
  • High-level analytical and reporting skills necessary to analyze data and provide analysis, reports, and presentations for decision-making.
  • Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining effective procurement policies, procedures, systems, and tools in a complex environment, to enhance performance.
  • Strong oral and written English language communication skills.
