**Job Opportunity:** APS6 Procurement Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our team as an APS6 level Procurement Officer.

The role will involve working collaboratively with various business areas to establish effective procurement methodologies, preparing documentation, evaluating tenders, and negotiating contracts.

You will be responsible for managing procurement activities, reporting, and verification, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).

Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing specialist procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Contributing to procurement planning activities within the wider Procurement Team
  • Maintaining and implementing procurement policies and frameworks

Requirements:

  • Previous procurement experience in a government agency or department
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver support and advice on compliance with CPRs
  • SAP experience preferred
