Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives as a Category Manager. This role will play a key part in delivering tangible value through the comprehensive management of procurement projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies within assigned portfolios.
  • Lead end-to-end market engagement activities, including RFx, benchmarking and negotiations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of data and prepare complex business cases and category plans.
  • Make significant contributions towards cost optimisation targets and enhance revenue generating opportunities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and increase productivity across the organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 7 years of relevant procurement and category management experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing contracts and suppliers.
  • Exceptional ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
