Facilities Maintenance Professional

We seek a skilled Facilities Maintenance Professional to support our maintenance team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to reactive and planned preventative maintenance as part of a dynamic team.
  • Maintain homes to the highest standard, adhering to established best practices.
  • Work in a busy team environment with varied tasks.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including patching & painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance.
  • E nsure all documentation and system processes are followed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Ability to interact with elderly residents on a daily basis.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Check:

A valid NDIS check or a valid police check is mandatory for employment in the Aged Care sector.
