Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the maintenance team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities.

  • Provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance as part of a dynamic team.
  • Work to established best practice and maintain homes to the highest standard.
  • Work in a busy team environment with no two days the same.
  • Collaborate with contractors where relevant, ensuring all work is carried out to compliance requirements.
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including patching & painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and system processes are adhered to.

Required Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Ability to interact with elderly residents on a day-to-day basis.

It is a mandatory requirement for team members working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid police check or a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.
