Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Carry out labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities, including repairs, painting, and replacement of globes.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Adhere to established best practices and maintain homes to the highest standard.
  • Work in a busy team environment where no two days are the same.
  • Interact with residents on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in aged care but not necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • A current driver's license.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
