Job Title: Fund & Group Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Fund and Group Accountant to join our team at Mars Recruitment Australia. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing fund accounting and group consolidations, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and reporting of multiple property and investment funds
  • Prepare accurate group financial reports, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet consolidation
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group
  • Ensure timely and accurate group financial reports, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet consolidation
  • Conduct variance analysis on consolidated financials and offer insightful recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or property investment management
  • Experience in financial reporting for investment funds, trusts, and group entities
  • Prior experience with property accounting software (MRI)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Strong technical accounting expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
