Your New Role

As a key member of our Fund Accounting team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for our managed investment scheme product portfolio. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, applying your accounting skills and analytical mindset to deliver accurate information on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing oversight models for daily unit price reviews
  • Monitoring liquidity positions and preparing daily cashflow and investment trade instructions
  • Preparing and reviewing periodic regulatory reporting, quarterly BAS return lodgements, and annual income tax returns
  • Calculating investment fees and rebates
  • Reviewing and analyzing Custodian fee invoices
  • Reviewing fund distribution calculations and unit registry statements across various asset classes and investment strategies
  • Preparing and reviewing interim and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives and process improvements
About You

We're looking for a motivated and dedicated individual with a strong accounting background and a passion for making a positive impact. If you have:

  • 2+ years of Fund Accountant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in unit pricing, distribution calculations, and financial statement preparation
  • Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to manage spreadsheets and use formulas
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance or a recognised CPA/CA qualification
