Key Responsibilities

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading property investment company to recruit an experienced Fund & Group Accountant. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing fund accounting and group consolidations, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the management and reporting of multiple property and investment funds.
  • Preparing accurate group financial reports, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet consolidation.
  • Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate group financial reports, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet consolidation.
  • Conducting variance analysis on consolidated financials and offering insightful recommendations to senior management.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the fund sector, with excellent technical accounting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or property investment management.
  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in financial reporting for investment funds, trusts, and group entities.
  • Prior experience with property accounting software (MRI).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
