Medical Law Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Law Assistant to join our team in Melbourne.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, assisting clients impacted by medical negligence.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, lawyers and other professionals
  • Arranging appointments
  • Producing and filing court documents
  • Preparing briefs
  • Managing a database
  • Diary management
  • Generating and editing correspondence

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate in Business Administration, Diploma or experience in the legal field (highly regarded)
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An organised and proactive approach
  • Ability to confidently multi-task
  • Ability to show initiative
  • A willingness to learn

  • Ability to deal sensitively with clients
