The Vineyard Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in the efficient and safe management of vineyards and winery operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Production Process

1. Oversee wine production from grape harvesting to bottling, ensuring high-quality outputs.

2. Operate essential machinery and tools to maintain quality and safety standards.

3. Analyze wines at various stages through laboratory operations, making informed decisions for optimal results.

Tasting and Trials

4. Participate in wine tastings and trials throughout the winemaking process, providing valuable feedback.

5. Conduct evaluations of treatments and provide technical support as needed, driving continuous improvement.

Sales Support

6. Assist with sales activities, including trade show presentations, effectively communicating the winery's value proposition.

Logistics and Administration

7. Coordinate logistics, bottling, and dry goods preparation for incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring seamless operations.

8. Maintain accurate records and information for winery and vineyard management, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

9. Contribute to new winery improvements and set-ups as required, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.

10. Alert the winemaking team to any facility or quality issues, prioritizing Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in winemaking or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of winery experience.

- Current forklift and driver's licenses.

- Ability to work extended hours during vintage periods or flexible schedules as needed.
