System Administrator Role

We are seeking a system administrator to manage our operational work around firewalls, F5, load balancer, and Zscaler proxy. This is a critical role in managing the infrastructure of our statewide network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer requests.
  • Develop an agile mindset within the team by conducting daily stand-ups and 'lesson learnt' meetings.
  • Improve processes in change management, performance characteristics, and service delivery technical issues.
  • Solve problems proactively to maintain system performance.
  • Mentor other members of the team on current technology to assist eHealth teams, Local Health Districts, and Service Desk.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in scripting languages, GitOps, wireless technologies, Solarwinds, Splunk, Gigamon, firewalls, remote access, authentication services, automation, DNS, load balancing, proxy, and EVPN.
  • Proactive approach to work, contributing to document writing, problem analysis, resolution, process improvement, and uplift.
  • Agile mindset, guiding the team in a growth-mindset culture.
  • Improving processes, including change and event management methodologies.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams and various internal and external stakeholders.
