Job Title: Environmental Services Officer - Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Services Officer – Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the safety and comfort of staff and visitors by maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and infection control across our facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of cleaning and associated domestic duties to ensure a clean and safe facility, and complying with NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) and Work Health & Safety (WHS) Policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing all aspects of cleaning and associated domestic duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Complying with NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) and Work Health & Safety (WHS) Policies.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a laboratory, healthcare environment or in a commercial/industrial cleaning role.
  • Sound understanding of industrial standard cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to be self-motivated when working individually.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety principles.
  • Current NSW driver's license.
  • Ability to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
