We are seeking a skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Sydney, NSW. The ideal candidate will have experience in contaminated land management and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to contribute to the preparation of contaminated land assessment reports and develop a network with Ramboll specialists across Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental science and engineering principles, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for site and field-based environmental data acquisition, measurement and maintenance of equipment, and contribution to report writing.

  • About You:
    • 2+ years of professional experience in contaminated land management or a closely related field.
    • Degree in environmental science or engineering related discipline
    • Full drivers' licence
    • Ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently.
    • Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of valued clients.
    • Your Responsibilities:
      • Site and field-based environmental data acquisition in Sydney, regional NSW and occasionally elsewhere in Australia.
      • Measurement, maintenance and calibration of equipment for surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapour, noise, air quality and meteorology.
      • Contribution to the preparation of contaminated land assessment reports.
      • Management of large data sources, including documenting data, recording observations and use of database and digitilisation tools.
      • Developing a network with Ramboll specialists across Australia.
