About the Role

The Groups and Events Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving the success of our catering and groups business. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of event planning, from initial inquiry to event execution. The key focus of this role will be on coordinating and finalizing all requirements for groups and events business, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and revenue maximization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a range of hotel groups and events business, including weddings, sporting teams, and corporate meetings
  • Coordinate and finalize all requirements for groups and events business, ensuring seamless execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Quote and convert new and repeat business, with a focus on revenue maximization and conversion
  • Ensure timely and personalized quoting to all meeting and group enquiries, with effective follow-up to ensure conversion
Requirements
  • Minimum diploma in Hotel Management, Sales & Marketing, or related field
  • Hotel, Tourism, and Hospitality experience preferred
  • Hotel Systems knowledge, such as Delphi or Opera, is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties in a professional manner
  • Experience in managing multi-stakeholder relationships in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work across multiple business units and market segments
