Timberlink Australia & New Zealand is a leading sustainable softwood timber products manufacturing and distribution business, employing over 600 people.

We operate world-class manufacturing sites close to some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products cater to various applications, including building new homes, renovation projects, packaging, pallets, and furniture components.

New Opportunities at Timberlink

We are driving innovation, which fuels our constant growth. Currently, we are constructing two purpose-built manufacturing plants adjacent to our existing facilities at both sites.

This expansion will enable us to manufacture new timber products, including cross-laminated and glue-laminated timber (NeXTimber), as well as wood-plastic composite decking and screening. This move positions Timberlink for growth in new markets starting in 2023.

About the Role

We seek an experienced Despatch Co-Ordinator to lead our logistics and dispatch function. This role is responsible for accurate and timely product despatch to valued customers and internal vendors.

The position is located in our brand-new CLT GLT facility, with direct reporting to the NeXTimber Operations Manager at the Tarpeena Mill (approximately 20 minutes from Mount Gambier).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritise safety in all aspects of work, adhering to all Timberlink policies and procedures.
  • Closely collaborate with the NeXTimber Production Planner to ensure timely supply of feedstock and despatch of produced goods.
  • Develop achievable and operationally efficient load plans for timely delivery.
  • Manage stocktakes.
  • Provide information and documentation to customers, focusing on minimising delays and customer-centric solutions.
  • Act as a backup for Forklift operations during planned or unplanned leave (preferred but not essential).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and/or logistics.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Order administration and delivery process expertise.
  • Current Forklift licence (desirable).
  • Experience in Pronto (highly desirable).
