Be part of a dynamic team at Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre as we seek a Marketing and Fundraising Officer to drive our three-year fundraising strategy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a donor journey to foster long-term relationships with supporters, promoting our bequest program to secure sustainable funding, and securing grants to support our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurture relationships with donors through a tailored donor journey
  • Promote our bequest program to secure ongoing funding
  • Write grant applications to secure funding for programs
  • Organize two fundraising events to engage the community
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent field
  • Relevant experience in marketing, fundraising, or similar roles
  • Experience using CRM software for fundraising (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Understanding of and experience in nurturing a donor journey
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and commitment to best practice
