This permanent full-time role involves all aspects of Heavy Diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting.

  • Safety Commitment: Proactive awareness and total assurance of safety precautions and duty of care.
  • Overhauling minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment.
  • Diagnostic work, failure analysis, and repairs; liaising with technical specialists when required.
  • Completion and submission of relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and coaching apprentices.
About the Role

This position requires:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters experience with demonstrated technical knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Analytical thinking skills to navigate complex technical issues with minimal rework.
  • A proactive approach to planning work efficiently and delivering quality outcomes.
