We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Market Access and Systems Manager

The successful candidate will contribute to the goals and objectives of a plant biosecurity program by leading critical plant and product market access programs and projects.

This includes implementing and maintaining nationally developed arrangements, such as the Interstate Certification Assurance scheme and Export Certification, which provides access for produce to interstate and export markets.

The Market Access and Systems Manager conducts high-level consultations with various stakeholders, including industry leaders, national Market Access groups and committees, equivalent counterparts in other jurisdictions, and government agencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to implement state-wide import and export market access arrangements
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement market access-based systems and projects
  • Conduct high-level consultations with Plant Health stakeholders
  • Maintain nationally developed arrangements, such as ICA and Export Certification
