Key Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist at the Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS), you will play a pivotal role in the conduct of technical activities in the RAH Core Haematology Laboratory. Your expertise and experience will be utilized to apply standardized practices and procedures in a range of technical activities.

About the Role:

  • Perform duties that require technical skills, expertise, and experience to apply standardized practices and procedures.
  • Participate in technical project work that requires applied knowledge and skill gained through experience.
  • Routine Haematology testing, including complete blood examinations, haemostasis, and blood film morphology.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
  • Working With Children Check (DHS).

Educational/Vocational Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognized qualification.
