Employment Tax Specialist Role

This is a senior-level position in the employment tax department, responsible for managing large projects and advising clients on complex employment tax matters.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment tax, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service. They will be able to lead and inspire teams, drive innovation and engagement, and leverage technology and data insights to support compliance and generate insights.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing large-scale employment tax projects
  • Advising clients on all aspects of employment tax, including Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging
  • Reviewing key deliverables such as FBT and payroll tax returns
  • Using technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights
  • Liaising with clients and regulatory bodies

Requirements for success include:

  • Extensive employment tax experience, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service
  • Technical and analytical proficiency, with advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Effective and flexible work style, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently and collaboratively
