Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Project Manager to lead the transition of ICT services from an internal arrangement to a shared services model with another government department.

The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of this complex transition, ensuring continuity of services, value for money, and alignment with agency objectives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy that aligns with agency objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the transition of ICT services to ensure continuity of services and a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Provide strategic and considered advice to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across the agency to understand technology needs and requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have experience in financial management, project management, stakeholder relationship management, public sector experience, technical leadership, and security clearance.

  • Mandatory Requirements:
  • Financial Management (SFIA Level 4)
  • Project Management (SFIA Level 5)
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management (SFIA Level 5)
  • Public Sector Experience
  • Technical Leadership
  • NV1 Security Clearance

This role is based at Government House, Canberra, with standard hours of 7.5 hours per day.
