About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Venue Manager. As a key member of our venue management team, you will be responsible for leading by example, motivating your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Energy: Motivate and inspire your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  • Boost Revenue: Run amazing shifts, drive up and cross selling to enhance the guest experience and exceed targets.
  • Create WOW Spaces: Transform our venue into a world-class entertainment destination that exceeds our guests' expectations.
  • Support Your Team: Coach and develop a high-energy team of customer service professionals to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Handle Operations: Take ownership of front of house and back of house portfolios, including rosters, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more.
  • Cultivate Culture: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and fun work environment that makes coming to work exciting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year people management experience
  • A valid RSA and Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • An obsession with providing the best guest experiences
  • Experience in driving revenues on shift
  • Proactive, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities
  • Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
