The Role

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our scaled systems mechanical design team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for architecting the next generation of carbonation equipment, a critical component of our carbon capture technology. Your expertise will help us design and develop low-cost, scalable, and reliable systems that meet our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation systems for carbonation equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation equipment into our systems
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and technical specifications
  • Work with suppliers and our supply chain team to ensure cost-efficient and high-quality designs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on automation systems
  • Strong background in design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
  • Experience with tools and methods like FEA, fatigue analysis, root cause analysis, and GD&T
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
