Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage mechanical design deliverables, including engineering calculations, hydraulic/surge modeling, detailed design drawings, and technical specifications.
- Lead and manage projects independently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective project management plans.
- Coordinate design outputs with drafting services and ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and works supervision to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of leading and managing projects independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Construction Induction (White Card) certification.
- Experience with water and sewerage engineering, including pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies.
- Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQ Code, WSAA, Australia Standards).
- Experience with relevant modeling software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
