Key Responsibilities- Define the scope and design innovative technical solutions for the project.
- Lead your part of the project team and sign off on all mechanical deliverables.
- Mentor Indonesian mechanical engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project execution.
- 8+ years' experience in a similar role with mineral processing experience, preferably gold.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- RPEQ registration or CPEng registration preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of accepted Mechanical engineering practices, design codes and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks.
- Team player and able to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with SmartPlant and project execution principles.
The Mount Morgan Tailings Processing and Rehabilitation Project is a joint project between Heritage Minerals and Green Gold. The project aims to design and construct a gold recovery system using advanced, proven technology in a customized processing plant.
The project will extract commercial quantities of minerals while rehabilitating most of the project site. It is expected to provide over 140 operational jobs and 450+ indirect jobs over the life of the mine.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer with a background in similar sized projects ($100M - $200M) in the mining industry.
