We are seeking a Building Inspector to join our infrastructure and community services team. Our client is responsible for various supporting services.

**Job Summary:**

Conduct building inspections and testing during the construction process to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, focusing on structural efficiency, fire safety, health standards, amenity, and sustainability measures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct thorough building inspections and testing during the construction process
- Ensure that all implemented measures meet or exceed industry standards
- Record accurate building inspection records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with policy and relevant legislation
- Prepare infringement notices, building notices, and orders where necessary

**Required Qualifications and Skills:**

- Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or Building Inspection
- Proven experience in statutory and mandatory building inspections
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and plan work to achieve agreed timeframes
