Job Opportunity: Building and Construction Trainer

We are seeking a skilled trainer to deliver the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120) to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver face-to-face and/or blended training and assessment for CPC40120.
  • Develop learning materials and assessment tools in accordance with the training package.
  • Have a thorough understanding of building legislation, drawings, permits, and site operations.
  • Deliver engaging training and assessment for CPC40120 in areas such as; building codes and standards, estimating, contracts, and legal obligations, site supervision and WHS compliance planning and managing small-to-medium construction projects.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support students' learning progress and provide guidance as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • A certificate in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or higher).
  • A certificate in Building and Construction (CPC40120 or higher).
  • A minimum 3 years of current/recent industry experience.
  • Hold a White Card (CPCCWHS1001) if available.
  • Be able to develop and maintain a compliant Training & Assessment Strategy (TAS) and use validated tools per the Standard for RTOs 2025.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, part-time, permanent, fixed term contract.
  • No less than 20 hours per week.
  • Rotating roster.
