Program Overview

We're seeking graduate social workers who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you'll work with individuals, families, and communities to provide support and services that promote social justice and equality.

You'll also have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and tasks, including:

  • Assessing and intervening in relation to customers' income support entitlements, safety, wellbeing and needs
  • Providing short-term crisis intervention
  • Delivering social casework as a planned intervention
  • Engaging with local communities to develop and implement programs and services
  • Providing training, case consultation or professional advice to staff.
Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this program, you must be an Australian citizen.

Additionally, you'll need to have successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in social work within the last 5 years.

If you've obtained your qualification overseas, you'll need to have it recognised by the Department of Education.
