Family Support Specialist
About the RoleThis part-time position involves providing intensive support to families with complex issues.
As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with children and their families to assess their needs and develop targeted plans to promote family stability and child safety.
Main Responsibilities- Risk assessments of children and families to identify areas for improvement.
- Development of client-focused plans to enhance family functioning and child well-being.
- Collaboration with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services to families.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work or psychology.
- Excellent understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
- Knowledge and experience in child and family services.
