We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our Stockbroking Technology Team in Sydney. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our trading platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of our trading platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Analyse defects and provide detailed feedback to development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain test data, environments, and documentation to support testing activities.
  • Deliver regular test status reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and visibility into testing progress.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Your Background and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
  • Proven experience in testing large-scale IT projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with API testing, database engines (SQL Server), and mobile app testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
