Compliance Leadership Role

We seek a highly skilled Compliance Manager to support the Head of Compliance in navigating regulatory landscapes and delivering positive, compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee incident management processes, conduct breach assessments, and collaborate with the risk & controls team to track and advise on investigations and remediation of compliance incidents.
  • Support maintenance of obligations libraries and business unit compliance plans.
  • Contribute to regulatory change processes from identification through implementation.
  • Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents.
  • Provide specialised compliance advice, guidance, review, and challenge to the risk & controls team and business unit stakeholders.
  • Perform targeted compliance assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of the compliance framework.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of internal and external reporting.
  • Develop and execute conflicts of interest plans for senior leaders, ensuring they detail relevant interests and duties and highlight where conflicts exist.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with the compliance function.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and support the head of compliance in developing strategies to address compliance challenges.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a compliance or legal function within the financial services industry, preferably in superannuation, with 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance practices in a regulated superannuation fund.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a law or business-related discipline (preferred).
