Are you a culinary professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Part-Time Chef de Partie to join our Food & Beverage team at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley.
Job DescriptionAs a Part-Time Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in assisting the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary focus will be on supporting the Head Chef and other chefs to prepare and cook delicious meals to high standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food quality.
  • Provide superior communication and ability to interpret event orders and menus.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements:
  • A formal Commercial Cookery Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong banqueting and events production skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of HACCP procedures.
  • Full Australian working rights.
