ICT Infrastructure Design Specialist

We're seeking a skilled ICT Design Engineer to join our global engineering team. In this role, you'll develop innovative solutions for physical layer infrastructure, working closely with engineers and managers across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include designing scalable fiber optic & copper plant, creating specifications for construction and permitting, and collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to explore emerging technologies.
You'll have opportunities to travel 20% or more to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at our Data Centers.
About the Role- Develop pathway, space, and cabling designs, along with specifications for construction and permitting.
- Engage with industry suppliers and manufacturers to define product requirements and explore emerging technologies.
- Ensure timely delivery of scalable fiber optic & copper plant designs and specifications.
- Review and approve ICT pathway, cabling and equipment submittals.

As an ICT Design Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Requirements- 5+ years experience in ICT design for Mission Critical Environments.
- 5+ years experience developing design documentation (plans, specifications, etc.) for construction and/or permitting.
- 5+ years experience working with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products, technologies, and standards.
- Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and maintain high quality standards.
- BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent.
- Professional Engineering (PE) Electrical License.
- Experience in AutoCAD or other Computer Aided Design Tools.
