Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of high-quality ICT infrastructure design packages, including written report documents, drawings, schematics, schedules, technical specifications, and procurement packs.

  • Development of 2D CAD design drawings and 3D Revit models working with the Revit BIM team, focusing on design coordination and clash detection with MEP services.
  • Representation of the company at technical and design team meetings, customer meetings, and contractor teams.
  • Evaluation of specifications, drawings, and calculations against industry, legal, and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A degree in engineering with at least 2 years' experience in ICT infrastructure design engineering is required. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of structured cabling systems, fibre optic networks, data cabling containment systems, IP/ethernet data network (LAN/WAN), wireless data network (WiFi), in-building distributed antenna system (DAS), outside plant (OSP), telecommunication network infrastructure and services.

Additional requirements include industry qualifications such as Cisco CCNA, CNet Training, BICSI, Uptime Institute, proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam, familiarity with Revit and Navisworks, and good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
